Concept

Lahzam is a belt that keeps the waist, inspired by the traditional belt used in weddings celebration for the bride’s, whose symbolism is to mark the fact that she becomes a wife. The challenge that takes this model is what makes its exclusivity; the model is conceived in a way that makes it able to maintain the waist by the form itself without making a full tour of the body and without using the classical systems of closure and hooking.

From the classical Belt, I take the authentic elements which are pendants made in a traditional way using file of gold or silver and the velvet for coating. The velvet is a noble tissue used for the classical dresses. In a first imagination, I think about a fluid geometry with feminine curves, which surround the body and maintain the size. All is composed with multiple belts, each one surrounding the size in a random and autonomic different movement, without that the ends get closed, each end of the belt takes a different direction as a creeper tree.
